Privacy Policy
CruciblePrep ("we," "us," or "our") operates crucibleprep.co. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and protect your personal data when you use our interactive interview-practice simulation platform.
We process personal data in compliance with the State of Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016 - PDPPL) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for international buyers.
1. Data We Collect
We only collect personal data that is strictly necessary to deliver the Service:
Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication preferences.
User-Generated Content: Interview audio/text transcripts, custom frameworks, and specific text responses submitted during interactive practice sessions.
Payment Processing Indicators: We do not store or directly collect credit card numbers, billing addresses, or financial data on our servers. All financial details are securely processed directly by our external Merchant of Record, Paddle. Paddle passes back an automated transaction verification indicator (webhook token) to activate your account tier.
2. Lawful Basis and Purposes of Data Processing
Pursuant to Article 9 of the Qatar PDPPL, we process your personal data for the following lawful purposes:
Performance of a Contract: To operate, deliver, and maintain your interactive practice sessions and generate customized AI performance evaluation feedback.
Legitimate Interests & Improvement: To maintain system stability and optimize our core diagnostic pipelines.
Consent-Driven Enhancement: With your explicit, affirmative, and unambiguous consent, fully anonymized and aggregated transcript data may be used to expand and calibrate our standard case and question library.
3. Third-Party Data Sharing & Cross-Border Data Flows
To operate this globally accessible digital service, your personal data is shared with the following categories of trusted third-party processors:
Merchant of Record (Paddle): Financial transactions are fulfilled by Paddle.com Market Ltd.
Infrastructure Providers: Secure cloud hosting, serverless processing components, and database nodes.
Cross-Border Transfers: Because our computational infrastructure and transaction networks utilize globally distributed servers outside of the State of Qatar, using this platform involves trans-border data flows. We implement strict technical controls, end-to-end transport layer encryption, and data processing agreements to ensure that your data is fully protected at all times against accidental loss or unauthorized disclosure.
4. Data Retention
We retain account data and custom interview transcripts for as long as your subscription profile remains active. You may delete your individual transcripts or request complete account eradication at any time.
5. Your Data Protection Rights
Under Qatar’s PDPPL and global privacy rules, you possess distinct legal rights regarding your personal records, including:
The right to view, access, or request clear copies of your processed personal data.
The right to request structural corrections or immediate modifications to inaccurate profiles.
The right to withdraw your consent for transcript library optimization at any time.
The right to request the total erasure of your data profile.
To execute any of these data control actions, please submit a written request directly to our privacy desk at crucibleprep.founder@gmail.com
